Who has built the bee bed?

I would love to learn from all of you.
is there a lot of heat that is generated by the bees? can you feel the vibration? what find of wood did you use?
any pitfalls before I start on this adventure. lang hives are new to me but so needed as I can’t lift the honey supers any longer, so I’m very excited about this new venture.

I need to extend the plants to build a lang and bed to fit my son who is 6’6.
