I have been researching solar fences for our hive and trying to plan equipment needs and space. We do not have a lot of space for our hive and the footprint required for a fence is large as we are already considering a second hive.
I am not thrilled about a fence and am wondering if any other successful alternatives have been used by folks here. No guns, thanks. I am familiar with bear matts and have also thought about motion detector lighting. Anyone had any success with alternative deterrants?
