Has anyone used the flow hive on the Heather if do did it flow OK and if not please tell me about it as am planning on putting a couple of my hives on the Heather this year

Sorry not to have a straight answer - if I had any experience with it I’d just tell you myself 
I don’t have access to Heather but I do have my bees on thixotropic honey at certain times of the year and my recommendation would be “don’t”. Remove the Flow super and replace with standard frames whilst your bees are collecting the nectar and when finished, remove your heather super and replace with the Flow for your normal honey… Simples!
